"My lesson with the Finally Foundation was very eye opening as I was able to learn about the importance of financial literacy and security. It gave my peers and I an introduction to our futures, explaining to each of us the steps we should take in order to properly manage our finances. I enjoyed how we were able to apply our learnings into real world scenarios and see the positive or negative outcomes that can come from either a strong or weak financial situation. I also found it very helpful that we were able to start our own IRA accounts and now know how to easily manage our money. Overall, I will continue to refer back to this lesson when making any financial decisions in my future and understand that there are appropriate ways to handle finances."
